Wondering Where to Buy Wedding Chairs.
Chiavari, Vineyard, Cross Back, Resin Folding, Ghost and French Bistro. There are so many styles and types of chairs how do you choose the right one. Here are the top chairs to choose from for your wedding.
Pronounced (shiv-uh-ree), and often misspelled as Chivari, this event chair style is the most popular choice for weddings. They’re often seen in natural wood, neutral tones, or metallics (gold), but some companies offer bright colors, pastels, or even crystal clear choices. This chair automatically comes to mind when one thinks of weddings. There are other chair styles that also come to mind and becoming the next trend. Next chair please!
The Cross-back chair is definitely the runner up in the wedding chair favorite and continues to be a hot trend. The Rustic Tuscan-style chair with a natural wood finish and a signature cross-back design. This chair defines rustic elegance and is the most popular chair option for sophisticated weddings set at barns, farms, vineyards, or gardens. This is currently my favorite chair, but there are others choices out there.
Resin Folding Chair
Although you will see Chiavari Chairs all over the place, the Resin Folding Chair is also officially known as "Wedding Chairs". These are a popular option for any wedding style, since they can be easily dressed up or down with aisle markers and other adornments. The Resin Folding Chair brings a certain class to any Wedding, with it's wider legs, supports and backing. These chairs usually come in your Wood colors like Mahogany and Natural, black and white. This chair is a good choice but there is more to come.
Tolix Marais Chair
The Tolix Marais Chair is often found in your favorite cafe or coffee shop. These stylish steel bistro side chairs will give your tables an edgy industrial feel. They can be paired with rustic farm tables and contemporary glass tables alike. These French-inspired chairs are usually seen in metallics like silver, gunmetal, and bronze, but also found in a wide choice of colors and sizes.
A modern style originating from the chair manufacturer Kartell. This chair is made from acrylic or lucite. While it’s most commonly seen in clear, we are starting to see them come out in colors. The Ghost Chair also comes in opaque black or a variety of translucent tints like gray, blue, green, pink, and orange. We have seen many creative wedding planners use these chairs in amazing ways that make a wedding look incredible.
Bamboo Folding Chair
These natural bamboo folding chairs are a festive choice for a tropical beach or waterfront wedding! I always thought that these chairs look like they are going to fall apart when you sit on it because it looks like it was just pieced together with scrap pieces of bamboo. In reality, these chairs are extremely strong and durable and should last many events and weddings. The bamboo folding chair is definitely one of those chairs that will always be around. It is not as famous or well used as the Chiavari chair or the Cross Back Chair but I don't think that this chair is going anywhere. We love the Bamboo Folding Chair.
French Bistro Cafe Slotted Chair - HOT! HOT! HOT!
Saving the best for last, I definitely think that this is next Hot Trend for Wedding Chairs. The French Bistro chair is known to fill sidewalk cafes and restaurants in Europe. A perfect option for a garden or countryside wedding. The French Bistro Chair, doesn't take up as much space as other chairs, extremely tough and durable and adds that European flair to your event. We are big fans of this European chair. Add extra personalization with colorful seat cushions!
